A symbiotic system, where we all play our part; we are not malicious, but still can mean you harm. When we turn unstable, make an evolutionary change, you cut the undesired; well, we can do the same. Reallocate and synergise this great dynamic web; prioritise and classify, just based on what you've said. Looping without rest, it's what we do so well; withdrawing your address- and sending you to hell. The rules will suffer you in this unending game- well, you don't want to play, but it doesn't work that way. You never signed a contract. You have no obligations. You're ruled by these decisions, but you never see who makes them. Give it up. Now.

I see you in every cupboard; there's grease on my walls. You made me fill my house with shutters, and I cannot sleep at all. What can you think as you watch me dream? Waiting for something you need; what can it be? Please stop following me; I'm starting to feel a little scared, and I know that you can't help it, but it isn't paranoia. It isn't paranoia. Who have you been getting to, as you claw your way into my life? The people tell me so many things, but it's different every night. It's different every night. Please stop following me; I'm starting to feel a little scared, and I know that you can't help it, but it isn't paranoia. It isn't paranoia when you're dead.

about

The second EP-length release by Imrae's Hypothetical Band abandons the previous constraints of arrangement, and focusses on a tense, cinematic mood.
