A rattle, a bellow at the door.

You see what happens overseas is really quite enticing
as the whistle of a sliding blade puts paid to the enlightened.
And a group that meets for half an hour, of perfect disposition,
in uneasy fermentation are still open to sedition?

And they say we already let it out;
had our day, and it was glorious.
That our training is clandestine,
our motivations are libelous and boring.

Oh the palace full of opposition is in fear.
You can read them speak in contradiction, or they can come here.

So they'll take our pikes away,
and trample on our laws,
and bellow in our ears,
and wake us up at dawn.
And we'll meet in every house
and cultivate the ground
and we'll laugh when they go south
'cause their sherrifs don't run this town.

And they'll fear that tidal wave;
it'll hit them any day.
Yeah they fear their people's rage;
it'll reach them any day.
Until then, we keep our windows clean
